SMM, Nov 28: According to SMM statistics, during the week of November 23 to November 29, the impact of blast furnace maintenance on pig iron production was 1.4846 million mt, up 65,400 mt WoW. For the week of November 30 to December 6, the impact of blast furnace maintenance on pig iron production is expected to be 1.4132 million mt, down 71,400 mt WoW.
In the rebar sector, the impact of maintenance this week was 1.3481 million mt, up 1,400 mt WoW. Next week, the impact of maintenance on construction materials is expected to be 1.2463 million mt, down 101,800 mt WoW.
In the hot-rolled sector, the impact of maintenance this week was 66,000 mt, down 183,000 mt WoW. Next week, the impact of maintenance on hot-rolled products is expected to be 56,000 mt, down 10,000 mt WoW.
In the medium-thickness plates sector, the impact of maintenance this week was 0 mt, down 4,500 mt WoW. Next week, the impact of maintenance on medium-thickness plates is expected to be 0 mt, unchanged WoW.
